Was it a Police Cover Up? | The Suspicious Death of Samantha Harer

On February 13th, 2018 the Channahon Police Department responded to a call of a female with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, the police observed that Samantha Harer, a former Channahon police intern who then served as a dispatcher for the village’s emergency call center, had been shot. Her boyfriend, Phil Flores an off-duty Crest Hill police officer called 911 claiming that it was self-inflicted. However, his story and his behavior would raise far too many questions for everyone but the police department involved.
